Confession : I’m not a fan of Valentine’s day. It actually is one of my pet peeves. Buying for your loved one on “Feburary 14th” something to show them you love them. That’s bull. I mean what about the other 364 days in the year. It’s all about marketing and making money… so we celebrate Valentine’s day like any other day. No gifts, no flowers or special night outs. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this.
The only way I’d do anything on Valentine’s day or the weekend of the “Love day” would be if there was a themed party. Like this XOXO glitter party from forget me knot weddings + sitting in a tree events. I actually like the idea of celebrating it with your girl friends and what better way then in pretty heels, sequence and champagne.

I love the combo of vintage colors. The pinks, the purples, the golds and the glitter. What? Glitter is a color to me. :] to see more of this shoot visit joielala photographie & sitting in a tree!
What will you be doing for V-day? Try to convince me otherwise. (But I admit it might be extremely hard)

That carnation centerpiece is so fun and modern, I love the way it dresses up the table.
We have a tradition of Chipotle (burrito chain) on Valentine’s Day that dates back to 2007, when Valentine’s Day fell on a Wednesday which was the same night as Lost the TV show. No way were we missing it, so we grabbed Chipotle and then came back home to eat while we watched. Since then it’s our thing – we make sure to have Chipotle on Feb 14th, and watch something fun on TV.
Definitely not into the huge/expensive dinner. We save that for bigger occasions and less busy days!
Ahhh j’adore c’est trop joli, la déco est girly à souhait
