I don’t know what is my obsession with laundry rooms… but I tend to find that real pretty laundry rooms… are sexy in a way. Inspiring, making you WANT to do the wash, fold clothes and iron… Look at this one… now, you can’t say it ain’t sexy …

I love the ideas of having painted wooden hooks to dry those pretty pieces that aren’t made for the dryer. I mean… might as well display them in a pretty manner.

I love the color palette, soft romantic… who knew a laundry room could be romanic.
I love the mixture of mints, whites, beige, grays… and that floral pattern… très chic!

“This room is only a cozy 6- by 10-foot space, but with careful planning, storage was built in for laundry, crafts, sewing, and other projects using simple components found at Lowe’s. Savvy space-savers include a (full-size) stacking washer-dryer, hidden ironing board, and a drop-down drying rack. Cabinets on both sides of the room provide storage, as well as counter space. In a room this pretty, laundry feels less like work and more like an escape.” – CountryLiving.com

You will have loads of laundry detergents, powder or liquid form, bleach, softener, clothes pins, and sewing stuff… why not display them in pretty containers, vintage inspired if you like. It will add some decor elements your room might lack… and well its just pretty ![]()

I love the touch of adding glass doorknobs which makes a clever “peg rack” – Now thats what I call glam. And loving the idea of adding a skirt to a plastic utility sink. Adds style and camouflages whats under… so more storage space for you.
I’m in love… and hope that one day my laundry room will have 1/10 of this design flare. Are you a laundry room manic like me? Come on… admit it. hehe

Doing laundry is the one chore I inexplicably detest. But having a romantic laundry room such as this might convince me to not hate it as much.
