Color + Vintage have to be the perfect combo in my mind. So it’s a given when I came across the ‘Vintage by Colour’ series created by Swedish photographer and designer, Hilda Grahnat, I fell in love. Seriously, I love each picture and would frame them in my office. (Not to mention I love me some vintage finds and damn those are great!) She is such a talented artist it blows my mind. Speeding seems cool (to them) and for years the Societé d’assurance automobile du Québec has attempted to raise awareness about the issue. They’ve launched many campagins and this one, which was presented last week is really good (in my opinion) I just hope that the message will get to them.

Basically the message is : Speeding, Too High a Price to Pay!

Facts
Young drivers aged 16 to 24 are overrepresented in road accidents. Although they constituted only 10% of driver’s licence holders, they were involved in 24% of accidents resulting in bodily injury in 2010. The main causes are inexperience and recklessness.

I think she’s a great entertainer and just gets it. (notice I didn’t say singer, because let’s admit it… she ain’t got the chords of Christina) I’ve seen her in concert and it was a great show. So, when they release the video to her new song “Hold it Against Me” I was first in line to view it. Apart from the fact that the video feels like a commercial; make-up forever, Plenty of Fish, Sony… it’s really good and I think the queen of pop is back. Looking forward to her new album “Femme Fatale” set to be release March 29th.

One of my good friends introduced me to her a while ago before her songs “Hometown Glory or Chasing Pavements” became popular. I don’t know if you’ve heard of her before, but I am pretty certain that if the name doesn’t tell you anything, her voice does. I absolutely adore her music. I even used her song “Make you feel my love” in my wedding trailer montage. Amazing lyrics, beautiful voice and not to mention how amazing she is LIVE. I was lucky to see her in a intimate concert 2 years ago. Like I said, amazing.

I’m so happy that she is coming out with a new album February 22nd. So excited. If you don’t know her, or wonder how great she really is, listen to this video. She is singing Someone Like You, live in her own home.
