This month marks 125 years since Coca Cola put their first bottle on the shelf. To celebrate why not re-live these nostalgic days with a 125th anniversary bottle of Coca-Cola available at Selfridges for a limited time. I want to get one and display it somewhere. It’s pretty and vintage. perfect combo.

I’m a huge fan of tea and obviously anything design related so when I saw The Taxonomy of Teas designed by student Wendy Chan I couldn’t help but to be in awe. You must be thinking to yourself that I’m a geek, but I know how much work is put into this poster and honestly the details just blow my mind. Not to think about the actual process of actually stripping down each tea to it’s bare ingredients. Amazing & Pretty.

Clearly if I filled out this 1930′a marital rating chart (wife edition) i’d fail miserably! I’d loose points in the
#1 – Slow in Coming to Bed
#5 – Wears red nail Polish
#9 – Puts her cold feet on husband at night to warm them
#10 – Is a back seat driver
And lets not even talk about the whole “housekeeping” and dressing for breakfast part. Would you fail?! If you were a 1930′s housewife? Personally I find it ridic… especially compared to the husband chart.

As much as people think I’m an organized person, they are shocked to know when it comes to planning meals, it’s literally chaos in the Glamour This! house. I blame my husband irregular work hours (day, night or graveyard shift – never the same week to week) so when I find myself home alone with my son, I tend to go the easy route. Hello Grill Cheese!!! (my go-to meal when I have no clue what to do) There’s nothing wrong with grill cheese once in a while, but then the next day, lunchtime comes and I regret not having left overs.
I know if you plan ahead not only will you have the piece of mind but you will save money. Look for deals and cut out those coupons people!!! (in the end, you will save enough to buy that extra dress or pair of shoes you’ve been coveting) I decided it was time to get the meal planning started., I went ahead and designed a weekly “Plat du Jour” sheet. Filled with a grocery list that you can cut and bring along with you.

I decided to share my meal planner. I figured I might not be the only one with “meal-planning issues” so if I it can help out others, then why not?! Please note this download is for personal use ONLY. You will be downloading a 8.5″ x 11″ PDF. You may use Acrobat Reader/Preview to open the file and print as many times as you like. Hope you like it!!!

Please be sure to give proper credit (link to my blog) if you blog/share it. Oh and if you download it, I would love if you leave a comment. Enjoy!

Loving this great packaging designed by Drew Roper who is currently finishing up his final semester as a graphic design major at the University of Missouri. I personally think he won’t have any problems finding himself a job. This whole concept is amazing.
