Ever since I found out I was expecting I started looking for a nice, unique and modern baby memory book where I could write down all the important moments in Mavis first years. With no luck in finding such a book, I decided to give up. I even said I would design my own… (eventually) but today while shopping at Wal-Mart (yes I am serious) I found the most precious baby book ever! It’s called L’album des trésors de Bébé. But I’m sure you guessed it… It’s all french.

The book is perfect. With bright colors, shapes and patterns and not to mention those cute drawers integrated on the side of the keepsake box that keeps everything together and pretty for display purposes.

When I found this item, it was sealed so I didn’t get the chance to look inside and see if I had all the pages I was expecting to have in a baby book. Well, as soon as I opened it… I was in awe. AMAZING. Over 90 pages of goodness. Cute graphics — animals, fruits, clothes, toys … just to name a few. Included are grow charts, envelopes to keep the first lock of hair, a page dedicated to horoscopes, baby foot and hand prints… I mean I can keep going on and on and on.

I am sooooo happy to have found this little treasure and to think it was only… are you ready for this? 29.95$. I am sooooo excited to start filling out the pages and boxes. If you understand french, I would strongly suggest you get this to document your baby’s first years.

You can purchase this awesome book for 24 Euros.

  1. I LOVE this!!! I haven’t found any good baby books either, but this one just screams at me and I really, really want it! (It’ll also put my 7 years of taking French to good use.) I’m going to go try to order it now…wish me luck on navigating the French website!

    • Ooo yay! I hope you don’t have any issues. I know it’s available on the Amazon.ca website. (if i remember correctly) obviously not on the .com one.
I am telling you, you will LOVE it. It’s so pretty, I don’t even want to write in it!

  2. [...] This is the primary reason I was thinking about forgoing the baby book route when I was pregnant with Claire. (That, and the fact that I’m a complete idiot when it comes to scrapbooking.) And then I read about L’album des trésors de bébé on my friend Kelly’s blog… [...]
